Our Support Workers

The dedicated staff team who contributes to the care and support of our children, genuinely want to make a difference to their lives.

At Active Ark we aim to build strong relationships where the children and young people can feel and are safe. By developing positive coping strategies, helping to develop resilience and self esteem we hope to allow each child to revisit and enjoy their childhood and make some positive and happy memories. With high levels of nurturing care the team encourages all young people to become stakeholders in their home and have that sense of belonging, feel valued and are encouraged to celebrate the achievements in their lives.

The homes are solo or dual with a view of offering and promoting a family atmosphere, with a team around the child that encourage social and emotional development thus giving each child the aspiration to achieve all they capable of.

Our ethos and practice of the PACE method of parenting ensures that we can facilitate the progress and independence our young people need.

To watch a child flourish with our care and support gives a great sense of achievement and pride for all concerned.

We will not tolerate bullying in our homes, we will strive to find the reasoning behind running away and solutions to make this a thing of the past. We will educate young people on CSE and CRE and will commit to trying to make these paths that are left behind.
