We have a clear staffing policy that states that any staff looking to be employed by ourselves will go through relevant checks and interview, these include enhanced DBS, request for two professional references, references will then be verified by personnel manager, previous employers listed checked, any gaps in employment evidenced,1 character reference, evidence of original qualifications, this is completed as procedure before any staff can begin work for Active Ark.
If you are successful and are invited to join the team, following induction and training at minimum in Safeguarding, First Aid, Medication administration and Team Teach; you will then be expected to complete a Diploma level 3 in Residential childcare. This will commence within 6 months of starting work with us when you and the service both agree that that this is the right role for you.
