This is a mid-terrace house located within a ¼ mile from the city centre and close to amenities, schools, colleges and transport links. We support all religions and beliefs within this multi-cultural city.

This home is spacious and has a homely, friendly, fun atmosphere. You are welcomed with a smile and laughter can be heard throughout the home. We aim to ensure the home is caring and a safe haven for each young person.  As a team we achieve this through building positive and trusting relationships with the young person, families and professionals who are involved in their care. This enables us to adopt a child centred approach and build the best team around the young person.

We are able to accommodate up to two young people at any one time, taking into account their individual needs.

In our home we have a consistent core team who use the PACE model of therapeutic care within their role. The team; are all approachable and empathetic, they put the young person at the heart of their working practice and support them to reach their full potential and achieve and thrive in all areas of their development. To do this we are a team that use forward thinking and think outside the box and become creative to help the young person to develop and make positive changes in their lives. The staff team receive ongoing training in all areas required to enable them to carry out their roles to the highest standard. We are able to provide one to one support for any young person in our care. We also have close contact with local authorities such as the Police and Education Authority and strive to ensure every child is treat as an individual and helped to achieve the best outcomes they can to set them up for a successful future.

The young person can grow and develop in a positive way and implement the copy mechanisms we teach them to overcome the difficulties in their lives. This will allow the young person to make positive choices and be able to live independent, fulfilling lives.

The young people will have the opportunity to choose a key worker from their staff once they have settled, who will have regular chats and catch ups with them to discuss any issues or problems and also to ask what going well and to listen to their wishes and feelings and put a plan in place to act on them. Regular feedback with be given from both sides.

The young people are actively encouraged to give genuine feedback to ensure they are happy with us and as a result we have received positive feedback from the young people who have stayed with us.

The team at Warwick are an easy going, friendly, fun and welcoming. They have worked together closely for some time and formed close working relationships through getting to know each other as well as the young people they care for. The team will tell you that they all enjoy coming to work in the home.

We work with the young person to build resilience, self-worth and self-confidence by supporting and guiding the young person. Close contact and positives relationships with family members is also very important as is maintaining the link to family life. Staff support and facilitate all family, friends and contact.

I feel the team at 174 really understand and get to know the young people they care for really well; we are emotionally intelligent and can read the young person’s body language and facial expressions and act accordingly.

Together we can change lives.
