Certification and Care Commission Inspection Reports

This section is primarily provided for prospective Local Authority Placing Officers and Social Workers to gain easy access to information such as the Service’s certification, Statements of Purpose and Policies & Procedures sufficient for them to satisfy their Duties of Care prior to making any referrals for the first time. These documents are intended for Placing Authority professionals only and they should contact this office on 01228 672244 for a username and password to obtain access and downloads.

Direct access to the Active Ark’s section of the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care’s website is given below. It provides the Service’s details, Quality Grades since their inception in 2008 and Inspection Reports since 2006.

As an organisation we were very pleased to be awarded two grade 4s, (good), and two grade 5s, (very good), on the first inspection in July 2008. We have a policy of continual improvement in all aspects of management of this service and were once again pleased to be awarded one grade 4 and three grade 5s the following year. We are looking forward to all subsequent inspections and the opportunity to improve our grading each time.
