Our Small Residential HomesAt Active Ark we make our permanent residences as homely as possible with decoration, furnishings and contents designed to make the young person feel at home. We ensure that our homes comply with fire regulations and we undertake professional annual tests of portable appliances and electrical and heating installations. Furthermore each home is inspected weekly to maintain standards of fire protection, safety, healthy eating, hygiene and household maintenance. Of most importance is the fact that two of our homes each accommodate one young person, the other two accommodate up to two young persons. We believe that this level of exclusivity is most beneficial to vulnerable young persons. We currently have residential homes in: |
